Notes:
Saturday, Blues Rox opened up for Noize Junkies at Prairie Creek Saloon in Norway. I decided to bring the snare/Cajole set up. An interesting concept but works better for unplugged rather than electric. Without a bass drum I had to use the Cajole as a bass drum and with it not miked up made it harder to hear and poor Kris, judging by the look in his face on this photo taken by his mom Judy didn't quite know what to make of it. That will be the last time I play Wipe Out, Free bird and Voodoo Chile on cajole. Afterward, I told Brian that since I played half a drumset, I would charge him half. It was a good laugh.
Sunday, being hung over and having sore wrists, I decided to just do the Stone City Acoustic Showcase instead, Rumors had the return of the Wildcat Spratt back on drums and about 7 others, so I didn't think I would be missed. Trying to get back into the swing of things, I started out playing Fever for the first time in a couple years. Got a good crowd reaction out of some of the songs. Solitary Man ended up to be the extra song. The lack of not playing it did show but as they say if you make a mistake, play it twice.
